Midterm Project Update

For my midterm project, I've decided on a music box that allows a person to move a dial as they go through different stages in their life. Starting from their birth, with the song happy birthday, to their death, with a funeral song, the user then goes to their last stage where they hear a heartbeat monitor flatlining and then begin to beap again signifying the start of a new life where they have to begin again and go through the same stages of life, in the same order, over and over again.

I did have a lot of issues with the coding, I thought it would be fairly simple as these were ideas we've covered in class already but turns out playing numerous songs back to back as they relate to a knob is not so simple. As of right now, the music portion of the project is pretty much working. The main issue I hope to work out during class on Thursday is the lights that correspond with each stage or song. That is the only component that I'm having a lot of issues. At the moment only two lights work, and only sometimes. They work the first time around but then don't work when I go back to them for the second time. So that's the only thing I need to work on for Thursday
